Graças a Deus, ultimamente muitos trabalhos têm surgido pra mim. Eu nunca pensei que fosse chegar um dia onde eu iria RECUSAR um trabalho sequer.
Pensando bem sobre o que quero fazer realmente da minha vida com quadrinhos, eu decidi criar uma divisão.
Dividir meus trabalhos, treinos e estudos em dois lados.
Um desses lados será o mangá, com o qual trabalho mais ativamente desde a minha entrada no ramo.
O outro lado será qualquer outro estilo, no momento, o que estou focando mais é o estilo americano, ou de super-heróis.
O que resultará dessa divisão?
Principalmente o afastamentos e pausas de serviços que eu poderia pegar.
Por exemplo, darei uma pausa no meu projeto para a Dinamarca por um tempinho, além de ter tido que recusar Galatea pra desenhar e arte-finalizar.
Estou trabalhando atualmente com "The Champions" e "Hero Envy".
Em "The Champions", acabadas as 5 páginas que serão levadas a editoras, permanecerei até que o roteirista desista. Quando a série conmseguir uma editora pretendo ser o desenhista e arte-finalista quer ela dure três edições ou um milhão.
Com a Osborne, só fecharei pra produzir outras revistas caso "The Champions" ainda não esteja com nenhuma editora, pois é a série que quero me dedicar inteiramente.
Com a outra "metade" da divisão, a de quadrinhos de super-heróis, eu pretendo me aprofundar, mas sem esquecer a parte diversão dos quadrinhos.
Fiquei bitolado, mesmo com a pouca experiência que tenho, e simplesmente deixei de curtir o processo todo de desenhar. Ficar horase horas numa página apenas pelo prazer de detalhar as fibras do cadarço do tênis do garoto em terceiro plano. Exageradamente é isso. Sinto saudades disso.
Quero deixar de levar tudo isso tão a sério e pegar menos trampos por mês, e com o tempo restante, aplicar pra valer no estudo de quadrinhos de super-heróis.
Não é uma revolta mas ( ainda bem que descobri ainda novo), percebi que não dá pra resumir a vida a "primeiro trabalho e depois diversão". Desenhar quadrinhos, ler quadrinhos, tudo isso tem que ser divertido, ou passa a ser um trabalho qualquer sem qualquer emoção e inspiração. Por isso desenhar quadrinhos é tão especial.
E de onde vem essa inspiração?
De um livro bom que a gente leu, de um seriado que fez a gente refletir ou rir pra caralho, ou só da zueira com os amigos e a família, que confesso, estou sentindo falta absurda.
Então é isso.
Não é um ato de desespero, muito pelo contrário, é um ato muito bem pensado, mas não programado, ou toda a espontaneidade que curto tanto vai sumir.
